The Student Ministry of Calvary Baptist
Church exists to equip students to fulfill their role in the
Great Commission through service, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship,
and worship. Our goal is to lead students down the path of Christian
maturity as they head toward adulthood and a lifetime of service
to Christ. All of our activities, from the deepest Bible study
to the most off the wall fellowship, are planned with purpose
of helping fulfill our mission to reach students for Christ.
At Calvary we value every person that walks through the doors
of our church, and our students are no exception. It is vital
that students have a safe place where they can belong, be themselves,
and be challenged spiritually. By being involved in this ministry,
they will find the acceptance, love, friendship, and direction
they need. They will be given opportunities to learn by doing
through teaching, worship, and service during a wide variety
of activities.
In Jeremiah 29:11 God says, "For I know the plans
I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans
to give you a hope and a future." It is our desire that the students
at Calvary seek God's plan for their lives, and discover that
He plans to use them to impact others for His glory. It is through
that discovery that they will find purpose and hope for living.
