Men's Minstry
Men, please join us for a cookout at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9th in the Fellowship Center. For most of us we will enjoy a big juicy hamburger. But for a select few there will be a fillet or t-bone. After we eat we will hear about mentoning, a contruction/repar ministry for the needy, fellowship groups and Bible study. it is time for the men of the church to dead out in service. We will to send a strong message that we will support our new pastor and worlk along side of him to readh Dothan for Christ. The cost is $5.00. You can get tickets in my office or look for them on Sunday morning.
Mission Trip
We will have a informational meeting on Wednesday, march 7th at 6:00 pm in room 314 in the ROC. The date has been set. It will be the week of July 14-21. If you have any interest in going please come to the meeting. If you have interest but cannot the meeting please contact Heather in my office.

This is an annual meeting of the men of the association. There are about 10+ from our church that are going. If you are interested, we need to let the Association know of our attendance by Monday. Call my office. 792.5159

This coming Lord's Day will be another great time of worship, praise and celebration. Our Celebration Choir, Celebration Wind Ensemble and our entire worship team will be leading in all three services this coming Sunday, February 19. Our evening service is one of our WOW (Wonder of Worship) series and we will have a great time praising our Lord together. We are blessed beyond measure with all the great folks God has given to us to help lead us to His throne each and every time we meet. Come Sunday expecting to praise our Lord with this great family.

As we anticipate the arrival of Paul and Cecilia on the first Sunday of March, we do not want to forget to express our gratitude to Bro. Jerry for his service as our Intentional Interim. We are very thankful for his time and attention over these last 8 months. I believe he has suceeded in his goal of preparing our hearts for God's new leader. God is doing incredible stuff in Calvary's Student Ministry. Almost daily students are informing us of the life transformation God did through the weekend of DNow.
Now it is time to look ahead at the opportunities God has in store for our students over the next couple months.
In March Adorned Girl's Ministry is hosting a Daddy-Daughter Date Night.
This is a night of connection and affection for 7th-12th grade girls and their fathers.
It will be Thursday, March 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
in the backyard of John and Margaret Downs.
Our guest speakers will be father-daughter duo, Ed and Haley Wright.

The weekend of April 27-28 the student ministry will host The Wiregrass Media Conference.
This will be a large event open not only to our students, but to all student ministries in the Wiregrass.
At the conference students and parents will be informed on how to critically think about the
media they allow in their lives. Be on the look out for further details coming soon!

Our March ministry project will be for the efforts of Wiregrass Hope Group. They are a faith based non-profit organization that has been serving Dothan and the surrounding communities since 1983. They provide compassionate care, encouragement, and practical support for young women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. They also offer character and relationship education programs, individual marriage counseling, and marriage and pre-marriage classes. Last year they saw lives changed and 16 professions of faith. Please take a baby bottle and fill with your loose change to make a difference in the life of someone. Thank you for your faithfulness to reach one more for the kingdom. I love you dearly…
